The Wizards won the boys intramural championship with a thrilling 49-46 win over the Lakers Friday night. The Knicks won the girls championship easily, finishing off a perfect 14-0 season.

The girls and boys intramural basketball finals are today.

4:00 p.m. (2) Celtics vs (1) Knicks (girls)

5:00 p.m. (2) Lakers vs (1) Wizards (boys)

The finals for the 2012 Conway Recreation Department intramural basketball program are set, and three of the teams are very familiar. On the girls side there is a re-match of last years finals as the Knicks (won yesterday 35-10) face the defending champions, the Celtics (won yesterday 22-14). The Knicks are 13-0 on the season and the top seed while the Celtics come in at 9-4 with all 4 losses to the Knicks.

On the boys side the Wizards, the top seed look to repeat as champions when they face the Lakers. The Wizards are the top seed while the Lakers come in as the 2 seed. The Lakers missed the play-offs a year ago.

The girls final tips off at 4 while the boys tip off at 5 p.m.

The girls have their semi-finals this afternoon with tip off at 3:45 p.m. The (1) Knicks face the (4) Wizards in the first match-up while the (2) Celtics and (3) Spurs play at 4:30 p.m.

Last night the Wizards and Lakers advanced to Fridays championship game with wins.

The boys intramural play-offs tip off tonight at 5 p.m. with the top seed Wizards facing the 4th seed Spurs and at 5:45 p.m. the 3 seed Celtics face the number 2 seed Lakers.
